This website has been online for over 20 years. It has helped many boatbuilders with a startup of their business. It has helped boat owners with problems, most often electrical problems, on their boats. The electrical portion of this site is by far the most visited getting over 1,700 visits a month. I have managed to keep it free. But costs are rising and I am retired and on a fixed income. I have considered making it a membership site but that would discourage visitors, and I would rather not do that. The sales of the book, Electrical Systems , and the Google Adsense ads help defray some of the costs. But they do not cover all. Any help I can get to keep it free would be appreciated. I do not track visitors to my website other than the data Google Analytics provides, which is only demographic data. They do not collect any personal information. Donations are through PAYPAL. PAYPAL charges me a 2.89% fee, (which on $5.00 is 15 cents) but the rest goes to my account. I do keep track of donations, but the only information I collect is name, email, date of donation, and amount, so I can thank you. This information is private and kept behind a firewall. I do not share it with anyone.
